Solo Sikoa Has A Bright Future After The Bloodline
The Bloodline saga seems likely to continue. WrestleMania 39. The Showcase of the Immortals will take place on April 1 and 2, so Solo Sikoa still has plenty of time to absorb everything he can from Roman Reigns. Given his pedigree, there is reason to believe that Rikishi’s son could become a next-generation star for WWE once The Bloodline disbands. Yet it’s not just family history that will rule Sikoa in 2023.
Since her debut Clash In The Castle, Solo Sikoa did not fade into the background with The Bloodline. He felt like a real threat in NXT and managed to carry that personality on the biggest stage with the top group in pro wrestling. Considering the personalities featured on The Bloodline, that speaks volumes about his onscreen presence. It took more than half a decade for Roman Reigns to get used to his character. Usos have come a long way since their face-painted baby-face days. Sami Zayn does some of the best character work of his career, and Paul Heyman is a GOAT amongst GOATS. Still, Sikoa stood out taller than any of them at times.
Every time he is given a match Raw or Smack down, surrendered. Whenever Triple H gave him a big task—like when kayfabe injured Matt Riddle earlier this month—Solo Sikoa sped up. The ability to shine at critical angles is not teachable, but the Solo seems to have more than enough of that quality. Roman Reigns will likely run on a much lighter schedule in 2023, which means WWE will need superstars to fill that void. Armed with the advice of her World Champion cousin, Sikoa looks poised to do her bit.
