Shawn is known for his time with WWE under the ring name Tye Dillinger. He is also known by his name Ronnie Williams. Recently he revealed the reason behind the end of his association with MJF. Since mid of October 2022, he was not seen with them. Also, he is expecting a child with his wife Cassie Lee. Lee is away from the sport too these days.

Shawn Spears completed his education at Laura Secord Secondary School and later he played hockey for more than 10 years until he decided to leave the sport and enter professional wrestling. During his childhood, Spears was a fan of Rick Rude, Rick Martel, and Mr. Perfect. In 2019, he got married to his love of life Australian wrestler Cassandra McIntosh who is best known by her ring names Peyton Royce and Cassie Lee.

When Shawn signed to WWE contract, he was assigned to the company’s developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). There he made his OVW television debut as “The Canadian Sensation” Shawn Spears, where he defeated SmackDown! Superstar Simon Dean.

On March 17^th 2007, Shawn Spears achieved the Television Championship from Boris Alexiev, his first singles title in the OVW.  Shawn Spears returned on the 12th October episode of Dynamite in Toronto as a face, reverting to his ‘Perfect 10’ gimmick from WWE.

Spears joined the organization in 2019, but in 2022 he hasn’t shown on Dynamite very often. He last competed in a match of wrestling on the episode of May 25 against Wardlow and could be on the way out of AEW with him yet to sign a new contract extension. His salary with the company isn’t known.
