Shamshera: Alia Bhatt calls it a 'hot morning' as she reacts to Ranbir Kapoor's poster; To release on July 22

A few days back, the first look of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Shamshera was Leaked on the internet. It will also star Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in the lead. This marks Ranbir’s comeback after his 2018 released film, Sanju and his return to the movies is one of the most anticipated events among fans and audiences. Now, the makers have officially shared the poster of Ranbir’s look from the film and also announced the release date. It is scheduled to release on July 22, 2022.

Now, Alia Bhatt reacted to Ranbir’s first look from Shamshera on her social media. Sharing her husband’s poster on her Instagram, she captioned it: “Now that’s a hot morning .. I mean .. good morning”. In the poster, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor is seen donning a rugged avatar as he sports long hair and a beard. He is also seen holding an axe-like weapon in his hands. Meanwhile, the official social media handle of YRF shared the first look and wrote, “Introducing Shamshera – the fierce warrior & the saviour of his tribe. Experience it in @IMAX in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 22nd July.”

Talking about Shamshera, it is set in the 1800s in the heartland of India and is based in the fictitious city of Kaza. The film narrates the story of a man who became a slave, a slave who became a leader, and then a legend for his tribe. He relentlessly fights for his tribe’s freedom and dignity. Helmed by Karan Malhotra, the film will also release in dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions simultaneously

Meanwhile, apart from this, Alia and Ranbir are currently gearing up for the release of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which is scheduled to release on 9 September 2022. This also marks the duo’s first project together.
