Jason Momoa has bared all during his latest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel‘s late-night talk show.
While chatting on Jimmy Kimmel Liveabout his upcoming film, Slumberlanda fully-dressed Momoa, 43, appeared to get a little uncomfortable in all of his layers.
With some coaxing from Kimmel, 54, who inquired about the Hawaiian “Malo” Momoa had worn in a recent Instagram pictureMomoa was geared up and ready to get his kit off.

When asked why he was wearing the Malo while fishing, Momoa replied, “I’m doing a show. I’m a creator and writer and director and producer on this Apple series called Chief of War and it’s all 1780s, 1790s Hawaii. That’s what I wear every day.”
He admitted he’s grown pretty fond of the look.
“I actually don’t even like wearing clothes anymore. I’m in it every day. I wear it all the time.”
A cheeky Kimmel pressed, “Are you wearing this under your clothes right now?”
Immediately, Momoa stood up and reached for his shirt collar, receiving incredible cheers from the audience.

The Hawaiian-born actor certainly wasn’t shy in the traditional dress, which features a thick cotton band that wraps around the waist, and a rectangular piece of cloth that hangs at the front, to cover the important bits.
To the audience’s surprise and delight, Momoa committed to the look and turned around so they could check out the back.

When asked if he wears the Malo often, Momoa confirmed that he does, though he doesn’t like to wear it in too many public places.
“Let’s say you went to the movies, would you wear this to the moves?” Kimmel inquired.
“No Jimmy, I don’t want to catch something,” Momoa quipped.
