Child star Tyler Sanders’ death at the age of 18 has been ruled an accident, it has been confirmed.
Sanders, who starred in TV series 9-1-1: Lone Star and The Rookiedied in June at his home in Los Angeles, his talent agent Pedro Tapia shared at the time.
Six months later, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner has issued its report, obtained by TMZciting “fentanyl effects” as the primary cause and determining his death was an accident.

“Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time,” his agent said in a previous statement.
The coroner also statedTyler had no known medical problems, but did have a history of drug use.
Sanders began his acting career when he was 10 years old.
Along with his role opposite Rob Lowe in 9-1-1: Lone Star, he has also had notable roles in Fear the Walking Dead and the Amazon Prime series Just Add Magic: Mystery City.

The talented young star received a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2021 for his role as Leo in the Just Add Magic spin-off.
In June, police responded to a call concerning a male who was found not breathing. Responding officers found Sanders alone and shortly after pronounced him dead.
At the time, the police did not suspect foul play and found no signs of suspicious circumstances.
